During conversion, AnnoCultor parses the XML file with custom converter, generates Java code out of it, and then tries to compile and run it. To compile it relies on the Java compiler class com.sun.tools.javac.Main typically provided as a part of JDK, file tools.jar The exact location of this class depends on the platform and VM.
The demos should successfully run on most platforms. However, if AnnoCultor cannot find class com.sun.tools.javac.Main then there is a possibility to specify its location in environment variable ANNOCULTOR_TOOLS_JAR.
For example, on Windows set ANNOCULTOR_TOOLS_JAR=%JAVA_HOME%/jre/lib/tools.jar
